Hike through a forest to reach St.Ivan Rilski’s cave, where he spent years of hermitage and spiritual growth and take the real-time test to see if you are righteous or a sinner.
Enjoy the wonders of Mother Nature and soak in the Stob sand pyramids atmosphere.

Our day program includes private transportation from/to Sofia, entrance to the Stob Pyramids park and guide service.

Program

Day 1

Departure to Rila Monastery from a centrally located spot in Sofia.
(On the way, we will stop for a refreshment.)

Arrival at the Monastery and a deep dive in the history and ambience of this centuries-old spiritual sanctuary. Explore the complex and take the quest to the cave of St.Ivan Rilsky where you can test your own sins – if you pass, you don’t have any!

Free time for lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon – light hike towards the natural beauty of the Stob Pyramids – a sand formation created by the magic of Mother Earth.

On the way back to Sofia in the late afternoon.
